What is the difference between AMD & Intel processors?
AMD & Intel have both been in business for a long time. Intel enjoys the largest market share between the two. However both offer competitive high quality processors for both the consumer and corporate market.
Intel's consumer offering is called the Core Duo 2. This is a fast processor it has two cores, meaning two processors built into one. It's got lower power consumption that AMD's present offering and is slightly faster.
AMD consumer offering is called AMD64 it also has dual cores, it's fast and reliable, and represents good value for money.
Both processors are a good buy and will provide good performance for your machine.
How much hard drive space do I need?
The answer to this question is simple as much as you can get!
How much memory should I have in my system
As a complete minimum for a modern system 515Mb however we would recommend 1Gb upwards.
